Covington, Georgia, United States 2002 marked the last year for production of the F-Body and the end of production at St. Terese Canada. * To celebrate the end of production the 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Camaro was created. * The Limited Edition was prominently displayed in the 2002 lineup. * The originally planned numbers of Limited Edition models were 3,000 cars for the US and 152 for Canada. These numbers were modified slightly by the end of production due to the demand for cars in Canada. * The Standard LS1 horsepower without SLP * modifications was 325 bhp. In most cases these numbers were less than what was actually produced. Most dynoed stock cars showed this number at the rear wheels! * Below is a copy of the specs that accompanied the Portfolio. * My Son in law bought this car but wanted to keep it in the family so I bought it from him to help him out. I have 4 other vehicles and really don't need the camaro 35th anniverary edition. This car has been taken very good care of. This was my Son-in law's "baby" so maintenance and repairs were done regularly. It has never been smoked in and as you can see from the photos the interior is impecable. This car is the SS package with all of the emblems in place on the exterior and interior of the car. It also has the SLP certified performance package for 5.7 LS1 engine. With 48,000 miles it is a perfect graduation gift for a senior high school or college graduate coming into the graduation time of the year. Or it could be the middle-aged person who just wants to have fun again in a high horse-powered convertible. |
