Sausalito, CA Here's a 1998 Chevrolet Camaro SS, a step above the legendary Z28. This mechanic-owned black beauty has T-tops, gray leather interior, power everything, and more. The newly rebuilt automatic transmission has had a performance shift kit installed for more aggressive shift points—scratch in third! It also features a K&N forced-air induction system built to Chevy specs—it mates right up to the hood scoop, it's not one of those cheap cone filters you'd see on a tricked out Honda. Among the other pluses are a 6-disc CD changer, factory-installed keyless entry/alarm, new tires, and a recent professional detailing. The car has just over 117k, but only about 6k on the recently rebuilt tranny. The title is clear and in hand. It's important to note that this is an adult owned car—it's not trashed, raced, tricked out with cheap Kragen mods, no wiring has been cut up for speaker boxes or neon windshield wiper lights, etc. And it's got the bigger brakes and faster engine than the '97 and below models. |
