Car Notes
2009.06.17 Ebay

Bay City, MI, United States

Well I have here for sale is may 2000 Camaro SS M6. I'm getting married and I'm going to have to buy a house and stop renting. So in order to do so I need to free up some money and this is one way to do it. I absolutely love this car and have people complementing me on a daily basis on the looks of it. My loss is your gain.

2000 Camaro SS 77,9XXmi.
Manual Transmission

New/used rack and pinion (out of a 2002 f-body), power steering pump and new/used alternator this year due to the rack and pump leaking and the alt. was replaced because the PS pump was leaking all over it. Front clip including mirrors were painted a little over a year ago due to stone chips and bug guts that were never washed off in a timely manner and ate into the clear. I removed the grille and smoothed out the mounting holes and added the stainless mesh in the grille holes. I just recently painted the the stripes on the hatch and spoiler and cleared the the rest of the panel and made the stripes smooth. I had the "manta' stripe on the hood but not the pin stripe so I added that and also took care of a stone chip as well. There is some minor spider web cracks on the rear bumper and I do plan on taking care of that but don't have much time on my hands. The rear bumper WILL get fixed by the time it sells. When I bought the car in '06 half the speakers were blown so I replaced all 6 of them with Memphis Audio speakers. The front doors have 6.5" Memphis audio syscrinis (sp) component speakers in them (I don't have the crossovers due to the factory amps do all that for me). The rear seat panels have 6.5" 2way mid range woofers in them. I wanted just woofers but the place I got them from didn't have any in stock so they sold me the 2ways at discounted price. The rear deck has 4" 2ways w/ adj position tweeter in them. The stereo sounds amazing with the perfect amount of bass. All in all I have right around $600 invested just in speakers. I also did away with the fixed antena and instaled a power one and tied it into the factory radio. I installed a rocker switch under the dash so that when the radio is on the antena isn't up all the time so you can put it down when your listening to a cd.

Now onto the the performance mods.....

- MTI clear lid w/smooth bellows
- Free mods
- LS6 intake swap
- UMI strut tower brace
- BMR bolt in 3pts subframe connectors (can be welded in if desired)
