Ok, for all of you who want a"sleeper"that will walk away from mostand run from the rest!!I have forsale a 1998 Camaro SS with around 70,000 miles. I took this to the track once after the recent work and and ran 13.1 at 116mph.That wasa babied run to, I could not get on it harduntill I wasat the top end of 2nd for lack of traction. This carwould run low 12'sif not betterwith Drag Radials.I am currently driving it so miles will change. This car has never been a daily driver up untill a couple monthsago when I sold my Hummer. Nor has itever seen snow, or much rain.It runs great and drives great, and from the looks of it you would never know it is putting down over 400hp and still getting 17-20mpg's. I love this car and hate to think aboutsellingit but I need to buy another truck and it makes mesick watching themiles add up everyday. All of the performance parts have less than 10k on them, the heads, cam,and intake have around 3k. Here is a quick list of parts that I can remember:

I havesomewhere around $7000.00 in parts. Not including plugs, belts, synthetic fluids, ect.or est of$3000.00labor tohaveit alldone. Fill free to look up the parts, the head and cam package came from Texas Speed. Oil is changed every 3k miles or less. Weekly wash, wax, vacum, and leather conditioner. The exterior has 3 door dings and a few rock chips from driving it the last few weeks. The A/C also needs to be refilled!, we had to drain it in order to do the head/cam swap. I have receipts for almost everything, except the exhaust and maybe a couple other small mods.But everything is clearly labled as I have mentioned it. I also have a car cover, original window sticker,dealer issued poster of the car,and first dyno sheet.This has not been a race car just a weekend pleasure.
The book price on this car is around $9500.00.My startingprice is good considering the mods and condition (reserve isn't much higher). I'll consider offers of anything over my starting price.I am not desperate to sellso if you don't like the price please do not contact me. If you are serious and would like more pictures thenfill free tolet me know.The only issue, that I have isthe factory shift pads and the current tranny fluid in the car. They are getting a little mashed down(only effects 5th every once and a while) it could use some solidbronze pads. I have synthetic fluid in the tranny, No problemsjust that it takes a little longer forthe fluidto warm up. Its new fluid but I will most likely have it changed again by the weekend.
I have this car listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction at anytime.
Also, one last thing. I have a small loan on this car (less than $1500). Ifsomeone puts a bid inI'll pay off the car the same day orday afterand will have the title by the following week. My bank is quick, I've done this on 3 other cars in the last year. |
